Open Burning Regulations

Open burning is defined by Ohio EPA as any set outdoor fire that does not vent to a chimney or stack.

Ohio EPA’s Division of Air Pollution Control (DAPC) regulations for open burning are contained in Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 3745-19.
