On Saturday, August 12, we will facilitate another recycling event at the Shearer Community Center.
Come on out with your ‘stuff’ from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon for these residential recycling opportunities. You will need to provide proof of your Portage County residency.
SCRAP TIRE COLLECTION (funded by Recycle Ohio [Ohio EPA], and Portage County Recycling)
- No businesses – residential tires only please!
- Tires with rims will be accepted, but tires without rims are preferred please
- $.50 per tire, cash only
- Accepting car and passenger tires, bicycle and lawn mower tires
- Limit 8 tires per household
- You’ll self-load into a 40-yard dumpster
