A recent Michael J. Kirwan Dam & Reservoir post states that the Visitor Center parking area will be closed temporarily while a new restroom facility is being installed.
The post reads…
“ALERT: The Visitor Center Parking Area and Kestrel Way at Wayland and Gilbert Roads will be temporarily closed Wednesday, January 18th from 8am-4pm for installation of a new vault restroom facility at the visitor center.
For safety purposes, access to the dam and the recreation area will be closed to all visitors until the project is complete.
We thank you for your patience as we work to improve our recreation areas and facilities!”
