Our annual community ‘Spring Clean Up’ has been set for Saturday, May 10 from 8:00 AM until 12:00 noon at the Shearer Community Center.
The drop-off event is open to township residents only and proof of residence may be required. Materials from businesses will not be accepted regardless of where the business is located.
Please note this is not to be used in place of your normal garbage pickup service. It is intended for items that may be too large for your weekly garbage collection or for items that may not be accepted by your garbage service.
Items we will accept:
- All types of metal
- Appliances (refrigerators, dryers, etc)
- Furniture (couches, beds, etc)
- Regular sized passenger tires, on or off the rims – at a fee of $.50/per tire. Limit 10 tires per resident. No truck or tractor tires accepted
The following items WILL NOT be accepted:
- PROPANE TANKS
- CHEMICALS
- PAINT
- EMPTY PAINT CANS
- MOTOR OIL
- BATTERIES
- BUILDING MATERIALS
