On Tuesday, October 1st the new Portage County Emergency Operations Center will welcome residents, visitors, first responders and public safety professionals to an Open House from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at their facility located at 2978 State Route 59, Ravenna, OH 44226.
All are welcome to tour the center, built to make significant advancements in public safety possible for Portage County. Refreshments will be provided.
The project was funded by the Portage County Board of Commissioners through the American Rescue Plan Act Grant Program and will officially open for operation at 9:00 am with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
